Death by Force

On September 6, 2023, 21-year-old De'Marcus La'Trell Franklin was fatally shot in front of his residence on Baker Street in Muskegon Heights, Michigan. The Muskegon Heights Police Department responded to reports of an unresponsive man in a front yard around 2:35 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Franklin suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 3:23 p.m.
