Quinton T. Nance, a 16-year-old from Indianapolis, was tragically shot and killed on February 20, 2014. The incident occurred in the 600 block of East 23rd Street, where Nance was found in an alley with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Nance and his brother were on their way to a birthday party for their sister when they encountered another group of teens, leading to the fatal shooting. The police suspected that the shooting was gang-related.
