Mark Wayne Jackson, a 53-year-old resident of New Baltimore, Michigan, tragically died on April 9, 2024, after being shot through the door of his apartment in Kalamazoo. The incident occurred around 10:25 PM on Interfaith Boulevard when gunfire erupted nearby. Police responded to reports of shots fired and found Jackson inside his apartment, bleeding from a head wound. Despite immediate medical attention and transport to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
