Rayjon Tyree Barnes, a 24-year-old Black man, died in the earliest hours of April 10, 2024, after a night that began as a gathering in the parking lot of North Hill Farms Apartments on Cherry Hill Drive in Pontiac, Michigan. Deputies responding around 12:26 a.m. found that what had been a party had turned tense—an argument had flared, then erupted into gunfire aimed into a crowd.
