Shane Shorter, a 38-year-old man from Oak Park, Michigan, was tragically killed on May 10, 2017, in Pontiac, Michigan. Shorter was fatally shot outside the Michigan Department of Corrections' parole office in Pontiac. He had just finished meeting with his parole officer and was walking to his car when he was attacked.
