On a summer day in Pontiac, Michigan, a dispute tragically cut short the life of 30-year-old Christopher Cintron-Mateo. A Hispanic man, Cintron-Mateo was with Jonathan Alvarado-Santiago, 29, outside a home on Valencia Drive on July 4, 2021, when an altercation broke out. The argument escalated to gunfire, and both Cintron-Mateo and Alvarado-Santiago were found lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds.
