Taquaylin Montreal Thomas, a 26-year-old Black man, was rushed to Hurley Medical Center after gunfire tore through a home on West Patterson Street in Flint, Michigan, on the morning of Monday, July 29, 2024. Police were called to the 1500 block of West Patterson at about 7:14 a.m., arriving to find him inside the residence with what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Outside, in front of the same address, another man—49-year-old Marcus Bryant—was also found wounded.
