Death by Force

On March 3, 2023, 22-year-old Daiquan Elijah Taylor of Cambridge, Maryland, was fatally shot. The incident occurred shortly after midnight near North Drive and Pine Street. Cambridge Police Department officers responded to multiple "Shot Spotter" alerts and 911 calls reporting gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they found Taylor suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the University of Maryland Shore Medical Center at Cambridge, where he was pronounced dead.
