Da’Jour Sorrell, a 22-year-old resident of Cambridge, Maryland, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2021. On that day, officers from the Cambridge Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Gloria Richardson Circle. Upon arrival, they found Sorrell lying on the ground with gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Dorchester General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
