On May 28, 2023, a tragic incident occurred in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, resulting in the death of 16-year-old Kamryn Janifer. The Prince George's County Police Department responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 9:10 pm in the 12500 block of Woodstock Drive East.
