In a quiet Upper Marlboro, Maryland neighborhood, the life of 16-year-old Kamryn Janifer was tragically cut short on a late spring evening. On Sunday, May 28, 2023, Prince George's County police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 12500 block of Woodstock Drive East. Inside the residence, they discovered a grim scene: Kamryn and two adults, all suffering from gunshot wounds.
