On a Tuesday evening, May 3, 2022, the life of 20-year-old Jason Faison, a Black/African American male from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, was tragically cut short. The incident occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. in Holloway Estates Park, a public space near Rosaryville Elementary School. It was there that Faison was discovered suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital in serious condition, he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
