In the early afternoon of a Tuesday in Suitland, Maryland, tragedy struck the community. On June 13, 2023, 27-year-old Keith Daniel Bennett, a male resident of Suitland, was fatally shot. The incident occurred around 12:35 p.m. in the 4500 block of Silver Hill Road, a time when the day is typically bustling.
Responding to reports of a shooting, Prince George's County police officers arrived at the scene to find Mr. Bennett outside, suffering from gunshot wounds.
