In the quiet Maryland suburb of Suitland, the life of 27-year-old Maurice Donnell Fatherson was tragically cut short on a Friday evening in the spring of 2014. On April 26th, police responded to a report of a shooting in a parking lot located in the 3300 block of Curtis Drive. There, they discovered Fatherson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
