Reverend Milton Leon Moore, aged 50, was tragically shot and killed on the morning of December 6, 2006, outside his church, Warriors for Christ Ministries, in Suitland, Maryland. The incident occurred around 7 a.m. when Moore was shot in the upper body near the entrance of his ministry, which also served as a transitional home for poor families.
