On the night of June 14, 2021, 18-year-old Saiveon Pugh, an African American male, was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Columbus, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Wilson Apartments, a public housing complex along Veterans Parkway near River Road. Saiveon Pugh was driving a grey sedan with three other teenagers, including 17-year-old Jesse Ransom, who was also fatally shot. The shooting happened around 10 PM as the car passed by a known drug house for the third time that evening.
