In the spring of 2017, the life of Jason Lamont Boykin, a 32-year-old male, was tragically cut short. On Tuesday, April 11, 2017, Boykin was found deceased at his residence in Columbus, Georgia. His death was the result of gun violence.

Born in Columbus on February 21, 1985, Boykin was a graduate of the 2003 class of George W. Carver High School, where he had been a standout athlete in football, basketball, and track. He had gone on to attend Coffeyville Community College. He was a father ...
