On June 17, 2024, a tragic incident occurred at the Elizabeth Canty Apartments in Columbus, Georgia, resulting in the death of 15-year-old Michael Scott. According to the Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, Michael Scott was shot in the chest and pronounced dead at 6:56 P.M. by a doctor at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown.
