In the early morning hours of New Year's Eve 2022, the life of 36-year-old Akeem Jamal Garrison, a male resident of Capitol Heights, Maryland, was tragically cut short. At approximately 1:25 a.m. on December 31st, Prince George's County Police officers were dispatched to the 20th block of Chamber Avenue in Capitol Heights following a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Garrison inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
