Akeem Jamal Garrison, a 36-year-old resident of Capitol Heights, Maryland, tragically lost his life on December 31, 2022. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 1:25 a.m., when officers from the Prince George's County Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 20th block of Chamber Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Garrison inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
