Mark Anthony Blocker, a 20-year-old resident of Suitland, Maryland, tragically lost his life on May 30, 2014, in an incident involving law enforcement officers. The events unfolded in the early hours of the morning when Prince George's County police responded to a call about two men arguing outside an apartment building, with one reportedly holding a gun. Upon arrival, officers encountered Blocker and his brother, both of whom were holding pellet guns that closely resembled real firearms.
