Tyrek Walker, an 18-year-old from Suitland, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on July 5, 2017. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. while Tyrek was visiting a friend at an apartment complex on the 2500 block of Darel Drive. According to reports, Tyrek was gunned down in front of the building, and he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. This devastating event marked the second time his family had to endure such a loss, as Tyrek's brother, Charles, had been murdered four years earlier.
