In the early hours of Sunday, July 25, 2021, the life of 31-year-old Levon Darnell White II of Capitol Heights was tragically cut short. A witness transported White, who was suffering from gunshot wounds, to a local hospital at approximately 12:30 a.m. Despite the efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead a short time later. Homicide detectives from the Prince George's County Police Department determined that the shooting occurred in the 4500 block of Silver Hill Road in Suitland,
Maryland.
Investigators immediately began working to piece together the events that led to the fatal shooting of the male victim.
