On May 29, 2022, 9-year-old Jamel Parks, a young boy from Philadelphia, PA, tragically lost his life in a drive-by shooting. Jamel and his father, 37-year-old Gerald "Jerry" Parks, had just returned from a family cookout and were sitting in their car when two shooters in a dark-colored vehicle opened fire.
