On October 9, 2023, at approximately 5:40 pm, Prince George's County Police Department officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 8300 block of Indian Head Highway in Fort Washington, Maryland. Upon arrival, they found 16-year-old Elijah Fletcher inside a building suffering from gunshot wounds.
