In Fort Washington, Maryland, a late-night argument between friends escalated into a fatal shooting, leaving one man dead and another sought for his murder. Tony Terrell Proctor, a 40-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene from gunshot wounds. The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. in the 8300 block of Oxon Hill Road.
Authorities from the Prince George's County Police Department quickly identified a suspect in the shooting. They began a search for 33-year-old Christopher Crawford of Laurel, who police believe was engaged in a dispute with Proctor that led to the deadly confrontation. Crawford was subsequently charged with the murder of his friend.
