In the late morning of May 24, 2017, a dispute shattered the quiet of a Fort Washington, Maryland neighborhood. Twenty-four-year-old Timothy Harris was found lying in the roadway on Asbury Drive, suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body. Emergency services were called to the scene around 10:40 a.m., and Harris was quickly transported to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
