Frank Lamar Harris Jr., aged 20, tragically lost his life on August 4, 2011, in Fort Washington, Maryland. He was a victim of a double homicide that also claimed the life of his mother, Patricia Mercer Harris, aged 56. The incident occurred in their home located in the 11800 block of Hickory Drive. Both victims suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene. The initial 911 call was made by Frank Harris Sr., who reported the shootings early in the morning.
