Benjamin Ampong, a 34-year-old resident of Fort Washington, MD, tragically lost his life on May 4, 2022, due to a fatal shooting. The incident occurred around 1:00 PM on Corning Avenue in Fort Washington. When patrol officers arrived at the scene, they found Ampong in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
