On a Thursday evening in Fort Washington, Maryland, a burst of violence cut short the life of 20-year-old Avire Crowder. The young man, a resident of nearby Clinton, was discovered inside a car in the 1200 block of Palmer Road on June 22, 2023, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. First responders arrived at the scene at approximately 5:15 p.m. and rushed him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead a short time later.
