On a late winter afternoon in Elkton, Maryland, the life of 24-year-old Demon Nathaniel Harris was cut short by gunfire. The fatal shooting occurred just before 5 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024, in the unit block of Hickory Lane. Initial reports from the scene were varied, with some suggesting the victim was a teenager, but it was soon confirmed that the local man, Demon Nathaniel Harris, was the individual who had been killed.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators from the Elkton Police Department quickly determined that the shooting was not a random act of violence. He was seen driving a dark blue Honda Pilot, believed to be a model year between 2006 and 2008.
