On a late winter afternoon in Elkton, Maryland, the life of 24-year-old Demon Nathaniel Harris was cut short by gunfire. The fatal shooting occurred just before 5 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024, in the unit block of Hickory Lane. Initial reports from the scene were varied, with some suggesting the victim was a teenager, but it was soon confirmed that the local man, Demon Nathaniel Harris, was the individual who had been killed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
