De’Bryan Kentre Brown, a 25-year-old from Greensboro, was initially arrested on April 21, 2020, and charged with conspiracy to commit murder. Brown bonded out but was later indicted for first-degree murder and was arrested again on May 6, 2020. He is also being held without bond in the Davidson County Jail.
Additionally, a 17-year-old juvenile was previously charged in connection with the case, but those charges have since been dropped.
