Roosevelt Nick Green, a 66-year-old African American male, was found dead from a gunshot wound inside his home in Thomasville, North Carolina, on July 4, 2016. The Thomasville Police Department responded to a 911 call at 1016 Ensley Street and discovered Green's body. The incident occurred over the holiday weekend, and the police immediately launched an investigation into the shooting.
