In the early morning hours of Sunday, April 26, 2026, the life of Christopher Gwynn Tate, a 49-year-old man from High Point, North Carolina, was tragically cut short. Police responded to a 911 call around 1:12 a.m. reporting a shooting in the 200 block of Crestview Drive in Thomasville. Upon arrival, officers discovered Mr. Tate lying in the roadway with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
