On March 28, 2024, Tommy Lee Williams Jr., a 43-year-old resident of Capitol Heights, was found deceased in a parked vehicle in Crofton, Maryland. The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. when officers responded to reports of an unresponsive male in a gray Hyundai Santa Fe located in the 2100 block of Baldwin Avenue.
