In the early hours of May 27, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the pre-dawn quiet on the 2700 block of West Fairmont Avenue in Baltimore's Shipley Hill neighborhood. Responding to a report of a shooting at approximately 12:40 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers discovered 41-year-old Corey Robinson suffering from multiple life-threatening gunshot wounds to his neck, torso, and leg.
