On June 7, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting in the 900 block of Mineola Avenue in Salisbury, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Brookes Lamar Dashiell seated in the driver's side of his vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Dashiell was transported to TidalHealth Emergency Room, where he succumbed to his injuries.
