On July 6, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Oxon Hill, Maryland, resulting in the death of 45-year-old Tyrone Jones from Washington, DC. Prince George's County police responded to reports of a shooting in the 800 block of Southern Avenue around 10 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jones in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds.
