On a late autumn morning in 2018, the life of 31-year-old Sammy Robinson II of Oxon Hill, Maryland, was tragically cut short. On November 25th, at approximately 9:45 a.m., officers were called to the 5600 block of Woodland Drive in the neighboring town of Forest Heights for a welfare check on an unresponsive man found lying in a yard. Upon arrival, they discovered Robinson suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
