Hudson Lal Bhagwat, a 37-year-old resident of Oxon Hill, Maryland, was tragically shot and killed on the evening of July 20, 2015. The incident occurred near Maury Avenue and Audrey Lane, a neighborhood characterized by a mix of single-family homes and townhouse complexes. Prince George's County Police responded to the scene around 8 p.m. and found Bhagwat lying on the street with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
