On a Labor Day morning, the community of Silver Spring, Maryland, was shaken by a fatal shooting that claimed the life of 34-year-old Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer, a male resident of Washington, D.C. The incident occurred on September 2, 2024, in an alley located in the 8000 block of 13th Street.
