Death by Force

On September 14, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 9200 block of New Hampshire Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Carlos Alberto Ortiz in a wooded area, suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, Ortiz was pronounced dead at the scene.
