On November 2, 2024, at approximately 6:00 a.m., a tragic incident occurred in Elkton, Maryland, resulting in the death of 26-year-old Darius Anthony Blalock from Bear, Delaware. The shooting took place during a gathering at a residence in the unit block of Chestnut Drive, where an altercation broke out among attendees.
