In the late morning of March 4, 2024, a tragic event unfolded in a home in Spanaway, Washington, a community near Tacoma. Inside the residence, located near the 3700 block of 159th Street East, 35-year-old Patrick David McFarland, a White / Caucasian male from Tacoma, was shot multiple times. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene at 11:32 a.m. following reports of the shooting. Despite efforts to save him, McFarland succumbed to his injuries while being transported to the hospital.
