On January 17, 2023, 39-year-old Casey Alisha Hamblin-Moss was fatally shot in Batavia Township, Ohio. The incident stemmed from a drug transaction dispute. According to the Clermont County Sheriff's Office, Hamblin-Moss and her boyfriend purchased drugs from Ryan B. Vest at a Wendy's near Buxton Road.
