Ashley Montgomery

Ashley Marie Montgomery, a 31-year-old woman from Cincinnati, Ohio, tragically passed away on January 12, 2019. The incident was initially thought to be a double homicide, but it was later determined to be a murder-suicide. Ashley was shot and killed by Clifford Smith, 39, who then took his own life. The Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit responded to the scene at around 4:30 a.m. in the 1600 block of Waverly Avenue in South Fairmount. Both victims were found dead at the scene.
