Nia Booker, a 34-year-old pregnant woman from Cincinnati, Ohio, was shot and killed on August 5, 2023, in the Avondale neighborhood. The shooting occurred while she was sitting in a car, and she was critically injured by a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to UC Medical Center, she succumbed to her injuries shortly after arrival.
