Necole Craig-Jones, a 41-year-old African American woman from Cincinnati, OH, tragically died on May 30, 2016. She was shot in the head by her boyfriend, Thomas Walker, during an altercation in their Avondale home. Walker claimed that the shooting was an accident, saying he woke up to find Jones holding a handgun and that it went off during a struggle.
