Rachel Counts, a 23-year-old woman, was found mortally wounded late on the night of October 5, 2025, after Cincinnati police were dispatched around 10:45 p.m. to Kings Run Court in the Winton Hills neighborhood. First responders tried to save her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities publicly identified her the same night and noted the investigation was being led by the Homicide Unit.
