On January 25, 2023, at approximately 10:19 p.m., Toledo Police responded to a shooting incident in the 3200 block of Downing Avenue, located in South Toledo. Upon arrival, officers discovered 16-year-old Anthony Terrelle "Ant" Krug-Overton inside a residence, suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
