On a late summer evening in Phoenix, Arizona, the lives of a husband and wife were irrevocably shattered. On Thursday, August 31, 2017, 45-year-old Crystal Brown, a Caucasian female, was with her husband near a transient camp located by the railroad tracks at 15th Avenue and Lincoln Street. The time was between 7:30 and 7:50 p.m. when they were suddenly confronted by three unknown young men.
