In the winter of 2022, a young Hispanic woman named Monica Alicia Yvette Hernandez, 23, was found dead in a hotel room in the Maryvale area of Phoenix, Arizona. On the morning of November 26, 2022, a maintenance employee at the hotel made the grim discovery and immediately alerted the authorities. Phoenix Police officers responded to the call and found Ms. Hernandez with a critical gunshot wound.
